I was unsure about music therapy being good for Sammy or if it was even worth the money. When I'm unsure about any path I choose for Sammy she usually tells me how she feels about it. It's not spoken but implied by her facial expressions, joy, and aura. Sammy has already committed to memory her music therapists name and has been willingly participating in music therapy. She was born with a natural ability to pick up on tempo, tone, and can learn any song quickly. The kid has got music in her heart. She hears it and just has to move, shake, wiggle, and groove. I enjoy music but not in the way that Sammy does. It brings her to a place of freedom from her struggles.
p.s. The above pic was taken during a lil drum jamming session at music therapy. She was a very happy and free little gal. It's worth every penny to see her glow.
